Over the last decade, the American public has become increasingly aware of the importance of health improvement and disease prevention through more holistic approaches then conventional pharmaceuticals. The concept of this trend has been coined as “wellness.” Wellness includes the elements of enhanced quality of life, and improved physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Massage therapy is an important component in preventative health and wellness. I feel blessed everyday in my practice, to be able to help people maintain health and feel better with the experience and knowledge I've gained in the field. I've been a member of The American Massage Therapy Association for 20 years, and value the opportunity it affords me to keep abreast of the latest studies in holistic therapies.
