We are an integrative wellness center bringing the disciplines of healing bodywork, myofascial release, aromatherapy, herbs, and acupuncture.

Bodywork and Botanicals

Loretta is an LMT,  was trained as a naturopath and  is a certified herbalist.  She uses herbs to help connect the mind body and spirt of herself and clients. 

Seeking the purest, most organic oils possible is priority.  Keeping in the forefront the farming practices and an understanding of the harvesting and distillation processes, testing methods used in every oil used.   

As essential oils have become more mainstream, the amount of information out there can be confusing and misleading as well. How do you know what's really in the bottle?   At ElleBee Apothecary, we believe what we put into and onto our bodies matters, and have dedicated years studying chemistry of plants and nutrition and we support the integrity and work of the Environmental Working Group and Pesticide Action Network,   

Growing up in a family of Italian immigrants who understood how growing, cooking and eating simple, wholesome food can nourish not only the body by the life force as well are the roots that grew Loretta's interest in natures healing.  Inspired by her mothers' dedication to help her brothers' learning disabilities with clean whole foods and her commitment to the work of The Fiengold Association, Loretta was exposed early on to the ability to heal with whole natural foods. Rosita Arvigo's book Rainforest Remedies inspired a 1994 trip to Belize which confirmed Loretta's aspiration to study these amazing natural resources.  Plant oils and herbs have been used personally and professionally since then.  

She is certified in aromatherapy and enjoys educating others in the field and exploring the science behind essential oils. Clients are offered the highest quality custom blends to help in between bodywork treatments using organic, or wild-crafted oils from a few of the very best distilleries around the world. 

Understanding botanical medicine, the healing properties of plants, is a scientific healing art, and is a continuing study to gain knowledge.
